Artisanal Hand Made Tangia Pot
It's now possible to experience the Marrakechi classic dish Tangia at home. Traditionally cooked in a clay pot, this dish of meat, preserved lemon and cumin will wow your tastebuds.
As this is a handmade and hand painted piece, each item will vary slightly and may have minor imperfections.
Available in four sizes: 1lb, 2lb, 3.5lb and 5lb. 1lb stands approx 6.5" tall. 2lb stands approx 8.5" tall. 3.5lb stands approx 10" tall. 5lb stands approx 10.5” tall.
Prior to first use, soak in water overnight. The next day, let dry completely. Rub the inside of the tangia with olive oil and place in a 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Turn the oven off and let cool completely. You're now ready to cook!
