Fine Grade Semolina (Finot) by Kenz
Semolina is an incredibly important part of the Moroccan kitchen. Ground to various levels of coarseness, semolina is used to make homemade bread as well as other Moroccan specialties such as baghrir, harcha and mlaoui.
Semoule Grosse or coarse semolina can be mixed with other flours to prepared Khobz, or traditional bread, for varied texture. In Algeria semoule grosse is used to make the iconic Kalb el Louz, a baked semolina dessert soaked in sugar syrup with an almond center. A must try!
